This 80 hour specialist training and CPD has come about from almost 20 years of sharing pregnancy & postnatal yoga with expectant/new mothers & student yoga teachers.
It is for those who already hold a yoga teaching qualification, although you don’t have to want to teach to join us, you may just want to deepen this area of your understanding or maybe you are yourself pregnant and want an in depth exploration of adapting your yoga practice at this time.
We work from the solid grounding that pregnancy, birth & motherhood are natural processes of life not medical events. Although modern medicine has its place and absolute benefits when needed we should also remember that we have an innate wisdom of our own as human beings. During this course, we explore how you can find your own way to empower women to begin to trust and listen to their own bodies and instincts.
This all begins with our non-dogmatic approach to teaching. We aim to give you the knowledge and tools to create and run postnatal yoga classes in your own style and a way that is authentic for you.
