Our very special teacher 200hour training course has been called one of the most unique and groundbreaking yoga TT's in the UK.
We don't feel that we 'train' anyone, simply provide a safe space in which everyone can explore with some guidance, the potential teacher that they already have inside of them.
This approach came about as the result of teaching workshops and intensives at studios all over the UK and in the process meeting a range of magical yoga teachers with a huge wealth of experience between them. Disenchanted with the way that many yoga teacher training courses seemed to turn out almost robotic teachers with little authenticity of their own, Dan and Gemma decided to put together something very different. A course that retained small numbers of students in each intake and encouraged those yogis to find their own perfect way of both practising and facilitating that journey in others rather than 'teaching' others to follow their instructions mindlessly. A new breed of yoga teacher and way of practising was born!
Unlike many teacher training programmes that add a training to their studios' class schedule and allocate teaching tasks on their course to a small pool of convenient studio teachers, we only run teacher training courses and bring some of the countries most inspirational tutors to our little corner of the world to spread their knowledge to you!
That means that we can choose to bring in the tutors that we know are the most knowledgeable and passionate about their particular subject, wherever they are from and whatever discipline. From a range of yogis with combined dozens of years pf practice between them, to record breaking free-divers, movement experts and biohackers-we have a passion for integrating magical and special people.
We are very lucky to be located in a peaceful corner of North Cornwall - close to the numerous coves and beaches for surfing and swimming - yet within easy access of Truro mainline station and the A30 main road into Cornwall.
In 2021, our 200 hour Teacher Training Immersion will be a much smaller group than usual to accommodate social distancing.
Depending on the current advice and in order to offer the safest options possible we have two venues available, just 8 miles and under 20 minutes apart, one near to St Agnes and the other in Devoran.
In fact many of our students relish the chance to spend some time making these occasional escapes over the course of the year to our wonderful countryside and beaches, where we teach outside whenever the weather allows and where they escape after class to surf, swim, walk or just sit to watch the sun going down!
Through our resources page we also recommend a range of local accommodation options from camping on a tiny budget to sea view apartments

COVID Planning:
We already have experience of running two 200 hour TT groups since the first lockdown in March and we are glad to say that everyone has stayed totally safe and felt comfortable with the measures that we have put in place.
Above all else we think that everyone, both tutors and students realise the need to be flexible in these odd times. Our primary concern is always to keep everyone safe above all else.
The following measures are those that we have introduced in order to keep COPID safe:

Above all else we think that everyone, both tutors and students realise the need to be flexible in these odd times. Our primary concern is always to keep everyone safe above all else.
The following measures are those that we have introduced in order to keep COPID safe:
- to have very large, alternate venues available so that adequate social distancing can be maintained if that is still necessary. Our potential venues are between St Agnes and Devoran - a distance of 7 miles - both of which are a short distance from Truro mainline station, midway between the two.
- any missed sessions (e.g due to lockdown / tier restrictions) are carried over to the next scheduled weekend and then any missed weekends are added to the end of the course. As an educational group / training we have currently been exempted from many of the tier travel restrictions meaning that students have still been able to attend assuming that the venue remains in a low tier.
- we have this year, filmed every unit of the course with all of the teachers (as well as some extra teachers) - there are literally dozens of videos -all of which are available on the resources page in case you cant make a rescheduled session or one of the scheduled weekends e.g due to shielding, isolating, illness etc
- If it is absolutely unavoidable that we have to do a weekend online, then there are certain sessions that can be covered just as well by zoom - however we have only used these very sparingly as a last resort with the current groups and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive at how engaging the sessions were.
- Some tutors may have to be changed or rearranged due to travel restrictions and so on - for example we have tutors that work in the NHS and also those that live abroad
For the first time we are able to offer our unique Yoga Teacher Training Online!
Complete all of the units in real time via zoom and ask all of the questions that you want of the tutors as they teach!
