Between us, Gemma and myself have over 50 years of practice and experience in teaching yoga, breath work, meditation, mindfulness and pregnancy yoga. It is something that we love to both practice and share with others.
Whether you want to join us for an online or in person specialist training, or you want to come down to our little sanctuary in Cornwall and chew over these topics in person, the choice is yours.
We have always been keen to share this work as far and wide as possible, not just to teachers in yoga studios or meditation centres.
Therefore these specialist trainings are stand alone qualifications - that means that we will take applicants from relevant backgrounds (apart from the pregnancy course where a 200hour yoga teacher training is a prerequisite)
The courses are recognised by Yoga Alliance Professionals (YAP) and we are a recognised YAP Trainer Pro School .
We are aware that there are a lot of trainings out there, many of the online ones for example have barely any useful contact time, rely on prerecorded material for learning and provide a cookie cutter approach to teaching.
As anyone that has trained with us knows, we are the total opposite of this. All training is either live in person or live online, we encourage a person centric approach where the skills of the teacher and the needs of the students are the most relevant factors that need to find some common ground. You simply can't teach the same thing to different people in the same way - every individual has their own physical, emotional and mental needs.
At the same time we are as affordable, probably more so than most comparable trainings so that everyone can afford to train - thats why we have a pay what you can afford tiered system.
