All of our intensives have the underlying exploration of how to be the best practitioner and / or teacher that you can be.
Be that of of yoga, movement, dance, martial arts or any other discipline. Working through the medium of breath, mindfulness or movement we start to peel back the superficial layers that hide what you really have to offer the world.
In this week-end the focus is our breath, a seemingly simple but always overlooked phenomenon that drives every movement that we make. I have always been obsessed by the breath as a lifelong asthmatic, a freediver, surfer, yogi, science teacher, medical school student, Wim Hof practitioner, and martial artist. It seems that everyone has something to say about how we should breathe!
These two days together will take us on a journey of understanding ourselves through not only the breath, but more relevantly, the breath in connection to movement and the mind. I have taken what I believe to be the most functional lessons from all of the above disciplines as well as fields from Taoism and systema to Buteyko method.
Topics will include:
Open to practitioners and teachers; discover how to improve your own breathing and that of your students in totally new and unfamiliar ways.
