11. WE will not be liable for your failure to meet any travel connections or liability for any additional activities that you might take part in during your time on in person courses e.g surf lessons, hikes, kayaking
12. As 'Trainer Pros', Our accredited specialist courses and yoga teacher training programmes are recognised by Yoga Alliance Professionals (YAP). As such we will notify them of your course attendance and confirm course completion by providing your contact details (email address, contact number and country of residence) unless you direct us in writing not to, or otherwise instruct us to limit such details to specific contact preferences. You can join YAP as a member and benefit from group insurance cover (including student membership and insurance for yoga teachers in training) if you choose to but are under no obligation to do so.

- By making payment of the deposit you are agreeing in full to the payment amount set out above as well as the terms and conditions as set out below

- The Training Provider / North Devon Yoga Centre/ Yoga Like Water /We /Us / Our / teacher/ trainer
- You / The Customer /Your / trainee / customers/applicant/ guest
- The Teacher Training /the course /the immersion/ the training/ the specialist training/ the event(s)/ the retreat
Cost and Payment Details:
- The course fees as listed include, where applicable, course manuals and handouts and for teacher training courses all assessment of course material & feedback. For in person courses and retreats see payment agreement for additional inclusions
- You are responsible for all travel arrangements, accommodation and other incidental expenses
1.Enrollment:
- If your application is successful the deposit is required within 5 working days to reserve your space on the training. Please note that the student will not be enrolled on the course until the completed Direct Debit Agreement and deposit has been received.
2. Registration
- All applications are subject to acceptance by Yoga Like Water. We will not be bound by any terms or conditions of Customer's registration that are inconsistent with or in addition to these Terms.
3. Payment
- Fees for courses shall be in accordance with the prices listed on the Yoga Like Water website and in effect on the date of registration on the course.
- We reserve the right to adjust such fees at any time without notice, including adding special offers.
- Applicants shall pay a non-refundable deposit if their application is successful
- For customers paying by a single / dual payment, date of payment will be advised by us. If you fail to pay by this date(s) We reserve the right to cancel your place on the course or offer an alternative payment plan if appropriate.
- For customers paying monthly, you will be advised when to begin payments. If you fail to make payment as agreed after a reminder has been issued, We reserve the right to cancel your place on the course.
- Late Payment: If you become aware that your payment will be late, please contact [email protected]. If you default, you will be contacted and asked to make an immediate payment by another method.
- Early Departure from the course, for whatever reason, will not end or limit the payer’s liability to make payment for the total cost of the course and we reserve the right to recover any outstanding payments owed.
- Non-completion of payments: Unless otherwise agreed, in the event of incomplete or outstanding payments you will not be able to attend further course sessions. A certificate of completion will not be issued until the full outstanding amount is paid or an alternative plan is agreed by us.
4. Cancellation: YOUR right to cancel
- You may cancel by notifying us in writing
- All Deposits are Non Refundable under any circumstances
- Any refund of balance payments will be based on the date the written cancellation request is received by us and in accordance with the following time scales

5. Cancellation: OUR right to cancel
- WE reserve the right to cancel the course for any reason, though we will endeavour only to do so in the event of exceptional circumstances that mean we are unable to offer the course as advertised, or if there are, in our opinion, insufficient numbers booked onto the course for it to be financially viable.
- Should this happen before the course begins, WE will notify you promptly and will refund you the full amount you have paid us in respect of the course.
- Should this occur after the course has already begun we will notify you promptly and will refund you the full amount you have paid us in respect of the course MINUS the cost of any sessions that have already run (on a pro rata basis).
- We will not, however, be responsible for any additional expenses which you may have already incurred or agreed to pay in respect of attending the course, for example in respect of, but not limited to, travel or accommodation.
6.Work Product
- In connection with the performance of a training course, The facilitators /teachers /training providers may deliver to the Customer, work product, defined as works of authorship, training manuals, documentation, reports, drawings and similar works ("Work Product"). The Customer acknowledges and agrees that The teachers, its licensors, or its contractors own all Work Product. All Work Product delivered to Customer pursuant to these Terms shall be and remain the property of The teachers. Customer shall not reproduce, copy, display, distribute, modify or prepare derivative works of the Work Product.
7. Course Content, Format, Location, Dates
- Any advertised course content, format, dates and location are correct at the time of print and can be found on the relevant website pages. However WE reserve the right to amend the content schedule, location (within a 25 mile radius), dates or guest teachers on the course without prior notice. This may be to suit the level of attendees on the course or due to any other situations that may arise necessitating such a change; such as but not limited to a change to teacher or venue availability, unavoidable technical disruption or other situations outside of our control e.g government COVID advice
- For online courses and retreats we will not be liable for any disruption to internet connection at either our or your end. If this is prolonged at our end we reserve the right to reschedule the session to another date. There will be no additional cost to students in this eventuality.
- In extreme circumstances (such as, but not limited to local or national government imposed restrictions on travel or social mixing) we reserve the right to cover parts of in person course content by other means e.g online video sessions and pre recorded course content.
- Advertised course content should be taken as a general guideline only, we run very organic courses and by their nature the exact content changes with the group energy and direction, questions that arise and so on.
8. Personal Liability
- If you are aware you are going to be late, please contact us in order that special arrangements can be made.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us of any change of address, contact phone number or email address during the course.
- Although great care is taken, the customer is entirely and solely responsible for their own safety, health and general well-being. you are responsible for taking note of any discomfort or pain that you might experience and refraining from continuing with any exercise that does not 'feel right' or seems to aggravate or cause any discomfort..
- For online courses and events please make sure that you have downloaded any necessary software necessary to attend such events, e.g ‘zoom’ or other online virtual meeting platforms. You will be advised of the meeting format prior to the event.
- We will not be held responsible for any damage or loss occurring to vehicles brought onto and /or parked on our site for in person events. Attendees bring their vehicle at their own risk. Please note that the access track is solid but rough and uneven in places, we strongly advise you to drive very slowly along the track.
9. Assessment, Qualification and Attendance
- Please note that adequate attendance is required to fulfil satisfactory completion of the teacher training qualification. Such attendance is your own responsibility. Please be sure that you can make the dates as set out on the web pages and wish to do the full course before confirming your booking.
- We understand that you may not be able to make all sessions or may have to miss one through unavoidable circumstances. Although we will attempt to help you in the event of any missed practical sessions, such as transferring you to the next available date, we cannot guarantee availability and reserve the right to levy additional fees for any sessions that you may need to make up if necessary. These will be in accordance with our normal rates and space rental.
- Missed sessions with visiting teachers will not be able to be made up with the visiting teacher, however we may be able to cover any missed material that is necessary to satisfy the teacher training qualification.
- No refunds are offered for any missed sessions.
- All coursework and assignments must be submitted for assessment within one year of the final live session.
