Terms and Conditions:​

Terms persuant to the following contract:
The Retreat Provider / North Devon Yoga Centre/ Yoga Like Water /We /Us / Our / teacher/ trainer
You / The Customer /Your / retreatant / customers/applicant/ guest
The Retreat /the course /the immersion

By submitting a booking form you are agreeing to the following terms:
1.    Booking

• A deposit of £100 must be made to secure your booking within 10 working days
• Full payment must be made 8 weeks in advance of the first day of the retreat.  
• If you have not paid your full balance by this date then we reserve the right to cancel your retreat space. Deposits are non refundable. 
• Bookings made within 8 weeks of the retreat start date will require immediate full payment
• Unless otherwise stated, prices include accommodation for the duration of your retreat, all meals and meditation classes.
• Prices exclude flights, airport transfers, travel insurance, excursions and activities, treatments and massages.

2.    Travel

• We are not responsible for any travel costs or for any delay or liability when you travel.

3.    Cancellations

• Deposits are non-refundable
• If you cancel up to 8 weeks before the retreat start date, we will refund any balance payment you have made (not including the deposit)
• If you cancel within 8 weeks of the retreat start date, we are unable to give a refund for any payments made
• All cancellations must be made in writing by emailing [email protected] 
• We are not responsible for any other costs incurred as part of attending the retreat, for example your travel
• We reserve the right to cancel the retreat at any time due to for example low number of bookings; if this should happen we would give a full refund and will not be in any way responsible or liable for any other costs that you might have already incurred in relation to the retreat e.g travel, additional accommodation

4.    Liability

•  All information on our website is correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of going to press. However, due to circumstances beyond our control, some details of each retreat may differ to the description.
• We reserve the right to make any changes to our retreat programme at any time. We will always try to make alternative arrangements to the best of our ability, but if these are not taken up, we do not accept responsibility for any costs incurred, including travel.
• Please check with your doctor that you are sufficiently able to undertake Yoga and any other activities that you hope to take part in, if you are unsure.  
• If you experience any discomfort or pain during an activity you should stop and ask for assistance.  It is your responsibility to inform the teacher of any injuries or conditions that you have.
• It is the responsibility of each guest to look after their own safety as North Devon Yoga cannot be responsible for any injuries or illnesses which occur during, or after, our retreat.
• Our teachers have appropriate public liability insurance which covers you for activities arranged by us.  This does not include any excursions or other activities arranged by you or the venue with other providers.
• We also cannot be responsible for any delays you occur during your travel, any loss or damage to your items and luggage.
• If you are a non UK resident is your responsibility to ensure you have full travel insurance for the retreat you are attending.  We require you send us full details of your insurance before the retreat.
• We recommend that you insure your journey and your luggage, and have insurance which covers any additional activities you may plan to undertake whilst on retreat.
• We are not responsible for the behaviour of any individuals in the retreat group. We reserve the right to ask any guests to leave the retreat if their behaviour is disruptive or disturbing to other guests

COVID contingency

• In the event of government imposed restrictions on travel, numbers or event attendance we will try to find an alternative date to host your retreat
• If you cannot make an alternative date we will refund your payments in full
• we cannot be held liable for any decision made on your own part regarding attendance that falls outside of current government rules and guidance
• We will follow all current government guidelines on social distancing, mask wearing etc that might be in place
