We believe that.. there is certainly no other training like it in town and we have pulled together a diverse dream team of tutors from some of the most exciting studios in the country. It is also our longest training with extra sessions incorporated so that we can fit in ALL of our course facilitators. Read about the YLW TT here and see our FAQs page for more info on common questions.
It is held over the course of ten months in London and because we believe in nurturing your own special talents as a teacher we keep the training small with just 15-16 students. We call it an immersion because you will spend the time exploring aspects of yoga that you probably didn't even realise existed, as well as hopefully questioning your entire perception of what yoga is. The course covers 21 sessions spread across a total of eight weekend sessions and some longer weekends roughly every six weeks from March 2018 until December 2018. We hope that this will make it as easy as possible to fit it in around your existing work commitments, it is also a zero air miles teacher training which is very important for us.
Many of our course facilitators teach at some of Londons' top studios including Triyoga, Indaba, The Light Centre, Yotopia and YogaHaven and can offer you a glimpse into the world of a London yoga teacher whilst giving you a helping hand to get started.
We also bring in an ever increasing number of cross discipline instructors from parkour, contemporary dance, freediving and lucid dreaming/shadow work to broaden your understanding of what is possible within the scope of Patanjalis 8 limbs of yoga.

Following completion of the course and as a new member of the Yoga Like Water family, we offer a mentorship programme for students. You will be allocated a tutor to oversee your first steps into teaching. We believe that this is something that many yoga teacher training courses overlook and do not offer, but it is very important to us that you do not feel as if you are alone as you embark on your exciting new journey as a yoga instructor. With your tutor you will be able to ask questions, assist them in class where possible and be introduced into the world of teaching yoga.
Giving back to the community is a very important part of our ethos and part way through the course, those that feel ready to gain some teaching experience will be able to participate by teaching some organised classes for charitable causes.
